Welcome to the 14th Iberian Prion Congress in Madrid!
The Iberian Prion Congress has long been a multidisciplinary meeting bringing together experts to explore the shared mechanisms of prion diseases and other protein misfolding disorders.
We are honored to host the 14th Iberian Prion Congress in Madrid, a European capital with a rich political and scientific heritage. The meeting will take place in a historic and influential biomedical institution, uniting leading scientists, clinicians, veterinarians, and specialists from across the Iberian Peninsula and beyond to exchange knowledge and strengthen collaborations. In addition, the active involvement of patient associations will provide an essential perspective, reinforcing the social relevance and human impact of our collective efforts.
As in previous editions, we are committed to fostering the participation of young scientists, whose innovative ideas and fresh perspectives drive progress in prion research. Dedicated sessions and interactive discussions will offer them opportunities for presentation, mentorship, and scientific exchange.
Inspired by Madrid’s vibrant intellectual atmosphere and the collaborative spirit of this congress, we aim to explore new frontiers and work toward solutions to the challenges posed by prion diseases.
